Sleek Makeup- Acid Palette

For the longest time I've been dying to get my little hands on this palette from Sleek every since I saw a youtube tutorial by xsparkage. Once I saw the tutorial I ran to sleekmakeup.com to try to purchase it but because they are a UK based company this particular palette wasn't FDA approved and wasn't allowed to be shipped to the US. Kinda makes me wonder what the hell is in the eyeshadow that needed to be FDA approved? Anyways I guess it got approved so I snagged one.

The colors are beautiful but as you can see the neon colors don't really swatch very well. They go on well when you pack and pat them on. I can't wait till summer to really start rocking and wearing the neon colors out.  Tiff

My new nails

I have been dying to jump on the new claw, long stiletto nails (whatever they're called) trend. So I took the plunge and decided to go get them done. I went to my local nail shop and showed the nail tech a picture of Lana Del Rey's nails. I'm absolutely in love with them!

On the road to nowhere...................

This picture completely sums up my life at this point. An endless road going nowhere and no destination in site. This is not at all how I pictured my life would be like at the age of 25. My friendships, relationships and entire life need to get off this road and quick. Time for a drastic change!

My first tattoo! OMG!

About a week ago I got my very first tattoo. I've always wanted one but was too chicken. The past three years I've felt like I've been stuck in a dark, dull, colorless ditch and now that I've finally crawled my way out of it, I want to make sure I never feel that way again. So getting a tattoo seemed like a good idea.  I got Love Life to remind myself not to ever find my way back into that ditch. It hurt pretty bad but I love it. It makes me feel badass! Lol.

Cosmopolis

    A while back I heard that David Cronenberg was coming out with a  new movie starring Robert Pattinson. I was shocked that Cronenberg would even cast Pattinson in a movie but didn't mind it after seeing Pattinson's performance in Water for Elephants. So last week I had the pleasure of seeing this movie. I've let the movie soak in now for a few days and even though I'm still trying grasp the whole idea of the movie I really enjoyed it. Pattinson was great in it and showed a lot of range in his acting skills. I think he just purposely acts bad in those damn Twilight movies. The movie is a whole lot of talking not at all like Cronenberg's more recent flicks ( A History of Violence or Eastern Promises) It's more like his earlier work like Videodrome where your left thinking "what the hell did I just watch?" A lot of the dialogue went over my head and sometimes I found myself being completely lost. I really wish Cronenberg would have thrown in some subtitles, all the dialogue was at times hard to keep up with. The plot of the movie is very simple Pattinson's character Eric Packer is a young billionaire who is being driven around his limo across Manhattan to get a haircut. Weird plot but the events that take place while he's going across town to get a haircut are even weirder. I say if you want to watch something that will make you leave the theater scratching your head then watch it if after watching a movie and saying the words"what the fuck" doesn't sound good to you then skip it.

My new shoes

Normally I would never ever buy a pair of loafers. Ever! I was never a fan of them. I always thought they looked funny. A few weeks ago I notice I was just feeling way to comfortable with everything in my life so I decided to turn a leaf and start to step out of my box a bit. It's small but I decided to start with these shoes also I'm a sucka for leopard print. These are from the brand Candies and are a size 9. I bought them on sale for $19.99. I really like them but I must admit I do fell a bit like a leprechaun when I wear them. I feel like I should be doing a jig whenever I have them on. Despite that tho I still love them.
