Lorac PRO Palette

What can I say? I'm a neutrals type of gal. I can't get enough of them. Anytime a new neutrals palette comes out I have to have it. So in lieu of the new Lorac Pro Palette 2 hitting stores soon I thought I would show some love to the original one and do a review. This is my baby, I'm absolutely in love with it. All the shades feel velvety and silky. They all blend so well. It feels like a million bucks on my lids! This palette can take you from a light beautiful day time look to a hot smokey night time look.Out of all my palettes this palette has some of the best transition shades. What more can a girl ask for?I bought mine on Amazon.com for $42 bucks. Take a look. Tippy <3

Mascara Crazy!

Jeez it's been ages since I've posted anything on here. I really want to get back into the swing of things. I've been trying out a lot of new products, drugstore and high end. Be on the lookout for a lot of new makeup and hair reviews, OOTD's and just life randomness.
Forever and a half I've been in love with Maybelline's Falsies mascara. It's been my best friend that's never let me down. It lengthens and thickens my lashes and does exactly what it claims to do make my lashes look false. Even a guy asked me before if I was wearing false lashes. A GUY! When a guy notices something like that then you know your mascara is awesome! All good things must come to an end tho. The last two tubes I've bought of falsies have just been terrible. Did they reformulate it? Is it just me? It drys out super fast now, flakes on me (huge no no) and has not been water proof at all on my watery eyes. I remember going out and partying all night before and that mascara would never budge. No raccoon eyes or flakes, nothing. Just awesomeness! So I began hunting again for that perfect mascara.
On with the reviews. I bought all these mascaras at Walmart and with coupons I paid no more then 8 bucks and under. Lets start with L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara in Waterproof. Out of the bunch of mascaras this is my least favorite one. It's a good mascara but just not what I particularly look for in a mascara. It's a pretty watery thin formula it does not in anyway thicken but it does lengthen a lot. I usually wear this mascara on my more natural days or days when I'm running late to work and doing my makeup on the bus like a mad woman. Mostly tho I really enjoy this mascara for my bottom lashes. Since it's such a thin mascara it doesn't clump up so it's perfect for those little baby lashes under your eyes.
Next Covergirl's Bombshell Volume by Lashblast Mascara in Very Black. This mascara is truly amazing. I'm not a fan of any Covergirl mascaras but they really blew me away with this mascara. It lengthens, thickens and makes your eyelashes just look insanely long. I tend to wear this mascara when I'm going out at night or if I'm just doing more of a dramatic makeup look. For everyday use it's just too much for me. It's a bitch to get off. Make sure you have makeup wipes or tons of makeup remover handy when wearing this mascara.
Now lastly Maybelline's The Rocket Volum' Express and Pumped UP! Colossal Volum' Express both in waterproof and in Very Black. They share a lot of the same similarities. They both darken the lashes really well lengthen and thicken the eyelashes extremely well. I use these both for everyday use. They stay on all day without flaking or giving raccoon eyes. What varies between the two mascaras and it the reason why I like one over the other besides the wand is the formula. Almost immediately after I bought and starting using the Pumped Up! mascara it dried out. It dried out like if I had it for months and like it was almost done. Me no likey that! It still works fine but I prefer a wetter formula. The Rocket on the other hand is holding up strong and hasn't dried out one bit after weeks of usage. I think it's safe to say me and Rocket are gonna be friends for awhile. If you happen to wonder onto this page drop a comment on what mascaras you have tried out and loved or hated. Drugstore or high end. Thanks so much. Tippy <3

My Kitty Tattoo

Since I got my first tattoo back in October or November I've been dying to go get another one. They truly are as people say, very addicting. About two weeks ago I decided I wanted a new tat and soon. I had a few ideas of what I wanted next but still wasn't too sure. I knew I always wanted a cat tattoo and thought about getting the Chinese lucky cat but I didn't want tons of color and I wanted something more simple. So I looked up cat tattoos and came upon one that looked identical to my cat, Piggy.Well the sketch doesn't look completely identical to Piggy but if Piggy was ever thrown into an alternate universe and became a cartoon this is what he would look like. I was instantly in love with the sketch. So now I was sold on what tattoo I wanted but now I needed a tattoo shop that could do it accurately. I looked around at some tattoo shops and none of the artists impressed me or the shop was just too overpriced. Luckily I remembered an old buddy of mine was an artist at a really well known shop with really high ratings and rave reviews on yelp. He was a great artist when were younger so I knew he was the right person. It hurt like crazy but it came out better then I could have ever imagined. I'm so happy with it. Take a look :)

(the original sketch I found online)

I bled a lot for some reason. (Ahhh bloody kitty)

         My kitty close up

So now it's Friday and I got the tattoo on Monday. It's healing up nicely and to my surprise it's not even itching. I keep forgetting it's even there. For my last tattoo the healing process was definitely the worst part of the whole thing. My only problem is that since it's healing I can't really shave my leg in that area and now my kitty is actually started to grow hair and whiskers (no bueno).

Check out the tattoo shop where I got it at Metamorph Studios

Also check out my bad ass friend who tattooed me "J" if you live in Chicago and are looking for a fantastic artist shoot him an email and set up an appointment with him (email address found on his link)

Influenster Vox Box: Something Blue

Since 2011 I've had the great joy of being apart of The Influenster community. I heard about the site from a youtuber. Basically what Influenster is it's a site that sends out sometimes monthly boxes called a vox box filled with free products to try out from different companies and in return you fill out a few surveys and give your honest opinion about the products. Besides giving back your feedback the only catch is you have to qualify for the box of free goodies they send out. Sometimes you qualify sometimes you don't. Either way it's a great company and I have had so much fun trying out all the cool new products I got sent. Here is what I got for the bridal Something Blue Vox Box. Enjoy :)

Check out and join the site here Influenster

The Balm's Nude'tude Palette

The Balm's Nude'tude palette came out a while back when tons of makeup companies were dishing out neutral palettes like hot cakes. I own the Naked Palette by Urban Decay, so I never found the need to jump on the Nude'tude band wagon. After watching numerous youtube tutorials of the Nude'tude palette I decided to buy it. Plus a girl can never have enough neutrals. It offers something a little different than the Naked palette which is what I really like and it's freakin adorable. So if your not completely sold on the Naked palette give this one a try and it's considerably less than the Naked palette on Amazon.

YOUR PRETTY FACE IS GOING TO HELL!!!!

Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell is a new TV serious on Adult Swim. The story takes place in hell (obviously) and is about Gary. Gary is a demon that isn't the best at being a demon. He's not as evil as the other demons and has trouble collecting almost any souls. He comes up with grand schemes to try and get people to switch over to the dark side but always fails miserably at it. The acting is fantastic and the show never fails to make me crack up. Watch a sneak peek of the show here and tune in every Thursday night at midnight on Adult Swim to catch all the latest episodes.

Sleek Makeup- Acid Palette

For the longest time I've been dying to get my little hands on this palette from Sleek every since I saw a youtube tutorial by xsparkage. Once I saw the tutorial I ran to sleekmakeup.com to try to purchase it but because they are a UK based company this particular palette wasn't FDA approved and wasn't allowed to be shipped to the US. Kinda makes me wonder what the hell is in the eyeshadow that needed to be FDA approved? Anyways I guess it got approved so I snagged one.

The colors are beautiful but as you can see the neon colors don't really swatch very well. They go on well when you pack and pat them on. I can't wait till summer to really start rocking and wearing the neon colors out.  Tiff
